New Developments in Using Low Pressure Membranes in Seawater Pretreatment

This paper describes operation of a number of full scale seawater desalination plants ultrafiltration pretreatment over longer periods. These plants differ in capacity from small plants for supply of water to local industry to large scale municipal potable water production plants. These plants are in operation in various geographical locations, such as Europe, the Middle East, and the Far East.
