Interstage Booster Pumps Improve Brackish RO Train Performance

This presentation on membrane system design from an energy viewpoint is from a preconference workshop in 2014 that discussed optimization in membrane plant performance. Booster pumps, energy recovery devices and alternatives to each are given. System design is discussed and a case study on North Lee County in Florida is presented.
