Fluid Technology Solutions and Aquatech have partnered to advance Low Salt Rejection RO (LSRRO) membrane technology for brine concentration and zero liquid discharge applications. The progressive LSRRO process achieves salinity differentials up to 70 g/L between concentrate and permeate, enabling treatment of high-TDS streams beyond conventional RO limits. Successful deployments include landfill leachate treatment facilities, and integration of forward osmosis with LSRRO systems utilizing high-concentration draw solutions is demonstrated for enhanced brine concentration performance.
