Concentrate Reduction by In-line Precipitator

In-line precipitation technology is evaluated for reduction of desalination concentrate volume through selective salt crystallization and settling. The process removes dissolved salts from RO reject streams prior to disposal or further concentration, enabling more sustainable concentrate management and reducing the environmental footprint of desalination operations. Results address precipitation efficiency, precipitate handling requirements, and integration with existing concentrate disposal infrastructure.
